Our event will be held in a beautiful private home in Placitas, New Mexico - located just 5 minutes from the I-25/Bernalillo exit. The two hour event will begin with wonderful food and drinks provided by Marcellos Chophouse and Cupcake Fetish. Following a short fellowship time, there will be a presentation on MPS, the National MPS Society and how you can make a difference.
This presentation will be both informative and touching; to provide our attendees with a chance to understand the daily impact both MPS and the National MPS Society have on the lives of many children and families, including the Todd family. We will be joined by Terri Klein, Development Director of the National MPS Society who will provide insights into the past, present and future goals of the MPS Society. In addition to Terri, we will be joined by our special guest, Jeff Bardsley. Jeff, visiting us from McLean Virginia, has MPS II and is member of the Board of Directors of the National MPS Society. Jeff will speak on his experiences as an adult with MPS II and the impact that scientific research and the MPS Society have had on his life. The Todd family will also speak of their journey with MPS over the last year and how the Society has made an impact in the care of their son, Jack.
